Granny Aperitivo

From June 1, la dolce vita dominates the Vollpension in the 4th district. Daily from 6 pm we serve Italian aperitivo in granny style. We provide you with drinks like iced tea vodka, Iced Eierlikör Café Latte and freshly tapped Prosecco from our specially built Prosecco-Bassena (disco lantern included). And to make sure the drinks don’t go to your head, you get a little snack with nibbles, pickles and Liptauer spread for free! Have a look at the evening menu and book a table here.

Mega-kitsch and living room in Vienna’s Freihaus quarter

After our initial pop-up existence, we were very, very proud to open up the first permanent Vollpension café in Schleifmühlgasse 16, in Vienna’s 4 th district, close to the famous Naschmarkt outdoor market. Our grannies and grandpas are baking their cakes in the neon ovens in the open baking kitchens, surrounded by mega-kitschy furniture between open brick walls. And you can just watch them baking. A cosy, warm and snug feeling, many lovely and very different people of all ages who are open to the world: this is what you’ll find at our place. We have coffee and cake, breakfast, snacks and much more. In summer, you can spend your time in our huge outdoor ‘Schanigarten’ (Bambi is also there!), and when it gets cooler, inside on a sofa.
