Augarten in the 2nd district

The Augarten is Vienna’s second largest Baroque park and it belongs to the Viennese. Hardly any tourist buses, but locals jogging, families picnicking, strollers without a schedule. Exactly what Authentic Local Culture means.

Café Sperl has been virtually unchanged since 1880. Billiard tables, newspapers on sticks, regulars. A coffee house that has simply always been there and always will be.
