Welcome to Vollpension. Our baking grandmas and grandpas serve fresh homemade cakes and the most heartwarming breakfast in Vienna.
Available at our locations: MUK (Music and Arts University, 1010 Vienna) and Schleifmühlgasse (1040 Vienna).

Grandma’s Homemade Cakes & Pastries

Our seniors bake fresh cakes daily using old family recipes. You can choose your piece directly at the counter using our “Grandma-Coin”.

 

Grandpa Bertl’s Buchtel-Indulgence (Yeast Buns)

Fluffy Grandma-style Buchteln (Austrian yeast buns) filled with finest Powidl (plum jam) and served with heavenly warm vanilla sauce. (Vegetarian)

Daily changing selection in our display: Sachertorte, Apple Strudel, Cream Cakes, and seasonal specialties. Baking grandmas decide what gets baked!

Aunty Paula’s Pure Savoury Delight (The Classic)

A full Viennese breakfast experience: Ham from Höllerschmid, spread, Montafon cheese, horseradish, seasonal vegetables, butter, and jam. Served with 1 roll, 1 slice of bread, and 1 piece of brioche.

Grandma Erika’s True Plant-Based Platter (Vegan)

Our big vegan breakfast: 3 spreads, seasonal vegetables, vegan butter, vegan cheese, and jam. Served with 1 roll, 1 slice of bread, and 1 salted roll.

 

Holzmichl’s Munich Freedom

Price: 9.90 €

Two white sausages (Weißwurst) with sweet Händlmaier mustard, a pretzel, and a very small beer (Just right for getting up!).

 

Aunt Gaby’s Garden Secret (Vegan)

Price: 9.80 €

One slice of bread topped with vegan herbal spread and radishes, one slice of bread topped with chives, and a small Bircher muesli.

Includes butter, 3 spreads, Montafon cheese, mountain cheese, Brie, Höllerschmid ham with horseradish. Plus 2 soft-boiled organic eggs, pickled vegetables, and 2 pieces of cake of your choice.

 

Legacy Hunter Breakfast (Vegan for 2 People)

The plant-based sharing platter: 2 glasses of Grandma’s bubbly wine, 2 fresh orange juices, bread and pastries, vegan butter, 3 spreads, vegan cheese, vegan feta with olive oil. Includes jam, 2 small Bircher mueslis, pickled vegetables, and 2 pieces of vegan cake.
